Protesters

America, especially the president, gets dinged a lot for their supposed war mentality. It’s pretty much a lose-lose situation, damned if you do, damned if you don’t, the why-are-you-in-Iraq-why-aren’t-you-doing-anything-about-Darfur-what-about-Liberia-and-Somalia-and-the-genocide-in-Africa-you-got-no-business-sticking-your-nose-in  . . . point-the-finger-at-and-blame-the-American-bastards mentality, and so it goes. This is my favorit fruitcake recipe. I make this every few years and hand them out at work and to friends. I usually make 10-15 mini loaf pans and then wrap in foil. If I’m really energetic I’ll wrap with ribbon and put a bow on it. Not sure how it will go this year. [...]

Tips on pumping gas

Got this from my mother – don’t know the source or reliability but it sounds reasonable. The part about vapors seems a bit much. How much vapors affects the amount of gas you get is probably miniscule. But, the tips aren’t too hard to live by so, why not.
